Adoptable Pets of the Week - The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Smokey Jo

Do you want a laidback, sleepy cat who only wants to snuggle? Or do you need an office assistant who can make the workday fly by? Either way, Smokey Jo is simply perfect.

Smokey Jo would love it if you picked her! She has plush fur and is super-soft to the touch (softer than your average cat), she's warm and approachable, and really enjoys the lazy life. And she also enjoys going on leash walks.

Born in 2004, Smokey Jo is healthy except for bad teeth (stomatitis), for which she's getting help. She's fine with other cats, but likes human company the best.

She's got a big purr, and she just makes you want to squish her! Born to a stray mom, she'd love to finally find a home.

Satellite

Satellite has the most precious, sweet nature. We don't know much about her past, except that she was found with her six puppies in a yard, but it seems as though she didn't know much about human kindness.

Her good nature is obvious, but we've discovered she doesn't really care for other dogs and would do best as a single dog in the home. And she definitely is not good with kitties. On the other hand, she is fond of children.

It was clear when she was rescued that all of her energy went to providing for her puppies, and she didn't get the food or water she needed. As a result, she can be a little protective of her food now.

Born in 2010, Satellite is still a youngster and she practically gave her life to the puppies who are now safe and sound as well. She's physically healthy, and as her confidence grows, she'll be a great companion.

Wouldn't it feel great to give this sweet dog her very first loving home?
