Mitt Romney Addresses Latino Small Business Owners on - C-SPAN

Mitt Romney will address the Latino Coalition?s Annual Economic Summit on Wednesday. The Romney campaign has said the candidate will discuss his proposals to improve the U.S. educational system. This is the second time in as many weeks the Romney campaign has reached out to Hispanic voters. Last week, the campaign released their first general election ad in English as well as in Spanish.

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Telemundo poll shows Romney is trailing Obama when it comes to Latino voters. According to the survey Obama holds a 34 point lead over Romney among registered Latino voters 61 to 26 percent.

The poll also shows 54 percent of all Latino adults approve of Obama?s handling of the economy.

His speech to small business owners comes as the Obama campaign continues to focus its attacks on Romney?s business experience at Bain Capital.

Tuesday, the Democratic National Committee released a new video, "Mitt Romney: Not a Job Creator" which included remarks by the President at the NATO news conference?"defining Romney as a wealth creator, not a job creator"?as well?as similar comments by?Staples founder Tom Stemberg, former auto czar Steve Rattner, CNBC host Jim Cramer and former Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell.

Hector Barreto, the Latino Coalition?s Chairman said ? Governor Romney?s record as a successful business leader, CEO of the organizing committee for the Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City, and elected official is replete with cases where he served as an effective advocate for American small businesses.?

The Romney campaign released a new web video called ?Stories from the Obama Economy??on Wednesday focusing on the President's record.
